Final Edit!

The final edit of my book just came in the mail and it looks really nice. After I finished working on it last year, I set the whole project aside, I did not even own a finished copy. It was such an undertaking writing, editing and publishing the book, reading, re-reading, proofing, fine tuning the images etc. My friend Jenny picked up a copy several months ago and helped me with a few final edits! Last week I ordered a copy to sign and send to her as a thank you, and also as a sample as she may be giving copies to her art students as graduation gifts. I decided before I sent it, I would read it through and check one last time for errors. While I was reading my book for the first time after not thinking about it for nearly a year, I read it with fresh eyes and I liked it so much, I’m very happy with the way it turned out. I learned a lot publishing my first self published book, I made many many mistakes but now that it’s finished I think it’s been well worth it. ​
