If I could forget you 
Would I choose to?
If I could go back and not have met you
Would I return to that
First moment
You smiled at me 
And transformed the comfortable slightly dull world I knew
Into a world of desire, need, want 
Hunger and wonder 
Would I go back and not live that moment
Knowing one day 
More than a year later I would be lying sleepless in bed
Just longing for one chance to see your eyes again 
And sit close enough 
To brush up against your skin
Would I give back that night if I could
Just to sleep in peace on this one.
No 
No I would not.
