JUST A MYSTERY YOU WERE
2/24/2014 Grieving the mystery of what could have been a lovely possibility. But life goes on. And hands release each other's hands Until we both wake up alone. We never learned each other's ways Though somehow or other you knew mine better than you should have, Now you're gone. (But then again you were never here.) Just a mystery you were, Just a hope for something more That was all. And life goes on the way it does That's the best thing about life. And love is different every time. And I'm Tired of wasting a perfectly good heart and mind on you. Life goes on The way it does And you can’t leave me now because you were always gone. And I knew that all along Sometimes I just enjoy pretending that I'm wrong. Charity
