How do you release what's never been caught?
my hand is open 
but this thought of you is not falling out
and when I toss it away
it returns the next day
asking me to come and play
in a fantasy
nothing more
nothing real
nothing to touch or to feel
no none of these things
and I know all about the idea of catch and release
but how
how do you release what's never been caught.
