lovely
like magic
exquisite and tragic
she’s a mystic

she walks somewhere between
the world of spirit
and man
and now and again
she even remembers
to bring
a thought or two back
on her return
from the outside realm

it’s madness
a lovely
sacred madness

it’s magic
a lovely
sacred magic

and it’s tragic
a lovely
sacred tragic

because a girl can’t walk
between two worlds
very long
before fading away
from one of them…
